We provide a range of services from basic Measurements and Bills of Quantities through to the full suite of traditional QS services, including Detailed Estimates, Contract Administration, managing Progress Payments and reviewing Claims.
We use the latest software to provide our clients with highly accurate, fast and cost effective reports. Our software can import engineering and architectural drawings to produce detailed and accurate measurements. We have also developed a comprehensive database to price and benchmark the costs of projects across a wide range of industries.
A Quantity Surveyor gets involved early on in a project from the Concept phase providing cost plans, initial budget estimates and advice on procurement methods best suited to the client and their project.
During Planning phase, Quantity Surveyors provide take-off/measurements, detail estimates, advice on contract methods, tender documentation preparation and provide an assessment of returned tenders.
During Execution phase, Quantity Surveyors prepare and certify interim certificates, value and manage change, manage subcontracts, prepare cost/value reconciliation and cash flow forecasts, and drafting of contractual correspondence.
During Close-out phase, Quantity Surveyors finalise all the changes, preparing, submitting and negotiating the Final Account and help to resolve any outstanding matters. A Quantity Surveyor can also facilitate the handover of all documentation to the owner/client.
A Quantity Surveyor plays a vital role in bridging the gap between the Owner, the Architect, the Engineer and the Builder. We provide independent advice to the Project team on a possible range of costs for the project. This will give the client / owner a better understanding of the investment cost and viability of the project. Quantity Surveyors can also provide the Project team with advice on how to minimise costs to help deliver the project on budget.
